    Tundra Team,

I installed Spyder Lights to my 17 Tundra a few weeks ago, and decided to purchase the ToyTec 35w HID kit. I see that it is plug and play, but for semantics did not receive any instructions nor can I find anything in the forums around installation. Some places are indicating that I have to cut the rubber gromit where the lowbeam is located. When it comes to wiring and harnesses my skill set is very rudimentary.

Someone who has this conversion, can you please advise if its going to require any unforeseeable steps? Currently there is a plug with grease on it(lowbeam looks like electrical prongs), but I do not see how that ties into the HID conversion kit. Before taking the front off again, I wanted to see if you could provide any tips, tricks, and recommendations.

    Thanks! :help:

    Some stuff
Everything is plug and play. You will have to cut the gasket on the back of the headlight in order to get the HID plug through. I put a couple of dabs of silicone around mine once it was all connected and working.

Thanks bud, I will get around to it soon. I may order the hood and bulge first, so I don't have to keep taking the front off LOL.

I don't remember cutting anything but if sean (the god of omniscience) says it's so, then it must be.....though it would be a simple move to capture the output it provides

Taking the grill off only takes 30 seconds but make sure you're gentle on the tabs. I've already broken one, though it's not necessary anyway

We made the transition immediately when we saw the stock SPYDER was no better than ONE. Just trust us on this one

Probably a dumb question, but I see on the ToyTec website it states you may need two kits, one for high beams, one for low beams. I have Spyders. I don't recall two sets of bulbs - am I crazy?
