The pdf direction to remove the entire bumper.

Is there a workaround only for the black section?

    Thanks

I've not done it myself, but per the linked thread above and their experiences - the only way to remove the black valence is to first remove the entire bumper first.

    Hell, use one of these:

Every damn time I see a vehicle hit one, that little front bumper plastic part comes flying right off....almost magically.

    :D

    Ok, don’t listen to me.

When I took my bumper off I think I remember seeing a bunch of clips holding that plastic bit on there. I don't think there is a way to get it off without taking the whole bumper off. That being said, taking off the bumper was pretty straight forward.

Whatcha planning on doing with your bumper that involves taking that part off?
