Thanks! I will get one of these eventually and that seems like a good target price!

So here's a little update on the Bak Revolver X2 that I ordered from Auto Anything way back when on 9/23. Yesterday, (10/16) I finally got all the missing pieces in the mail - clamps, weather stripping, bump stops, instructions, etc. I went to install the cover this morning and one of the side rail ends is very badly bent! I can't fucking believe this!!!

I spent 20 minutes on the phone with the broad from BAK, who couldn't figure out what to do because my order number wasn't coming up. I had my invoice ready to go with all the numbers she asked for, she put me on hold, then after another 10 minutes I got "disconnected." Called back and sat on hold for 15 minutes, gave up and pushed "0" to "leave a message" and the phone went to a busy signal. Called back an hour later, waited on hold 7 minutes and talked to the same lady again, who barely remembered talking to me just an hour earlier. She asked me to email her proof that I had actually bought one of these things, then told me the wrong email address to send it to. Luckily I made her stay on the phone until she got it, ten minutes and it still wasn't in her inbox. She repeated her email address and I repeated it back. Sent the email to her three times, still didn't go through. Asked her to email me and I would just reply back through that email. She left out her last name when she told me the address! How can you not know your own email address?! Still haven't heard anything back yet, so I'm hoping she got a new rail sent out. This Revolver better be the best cover ever for all the shit I've had to put up with just trying to get all the pieces. I will never buy anything from BAK, or Auto Anything, ever again, no matter how good of a deal it is. Worst customer service of all time.

By time I get it, it's gonna be a month since I ordered this thing. Took the bent rail out to the shop and went to work on straightening it out with the vice. It would have been passable but probably leak quite a bit more than one that is perfectly straight, not something you should have to deal with when paying ~$800

It's been a month to the day! Still waiting on BAK to send out a side rail. Easily the worst experience I've had with any company. After the email fiasco last week, I had called to double check that the rails were on the way, they weren't, went through the whole thing again, (20 minute phone call - can't find my order number, don't know what part # to send out, etc.) and was promised they would ship them overnight on Wednesday the 18th. Friday came and went without the rails so I called again, still didn't have my name in the system, went through the whole thing again, 30 minutes on the phone this time, guy said they would probably ship out on Monday and I would have them Tuesday or Wednesday! Can't wait!

Hey-oh! Finally got the new side rail from BAK yesterday! It only took one month and two days for me to get my complete order with all the hardware and a side rail that isn't bent to shit. Took 20 minutes this morning and threw it on the truck. Hoping the wrinkles will smooth out in a day or two, otherwise might try the hair dryer but so far I like it. Won't ever buy from them again, but so far I like it.

I have no regrets so far, and the install is a breeze, and congrats in your new ride
