I installed a pop and lock it last weekend in the Dinnamatted in it yesterday and it’s still pretty loud. Any other ideas on how to Quite it down?

Mine is loud too. I put some sound deadening mat in there but can still hear it. Now I just don’t pay attention to it. Sort of like living by an airport or near rr tracks.

When I installed mine, I added some Noico 80 mil sound deading mat I found on Amazon. Just stuck it around the mechanism about a foot out in each direction and also on the cover before putting everything back together. Never had it installed without, so I can't really tell you if it made a difference or not. It is loud, but I've gotten used to it quickly. I do kind of like hearing it lock so I know it's working and everything is secure. Keeps me from walking by and trying it each time we stop in a public parking lot.
