    So I'm looking at these trucks next week. There is a 2 yr and 40k km difference between them. Is the 40k km less worth $2500 ?

    You have to haggle first, haggling will either make the price closer to each other or farther apart, making the question easier to answer, ask the questions after you find out the final price for both.

    As is, I would buy the newer one.

    Have you popped the hood to look at the engine and got underneath to look for any oil or other fluids? I'd like to see how clean these areas are as well.

    I've requested the car fax.. the negotiation will be on the value of my 09 Suburban 2500 as a trade in... both trucks are about a 2 drive away so I haven't looked under the hood, but I do have a fairly good idea of the problem spots.
