In hopes Trump passes the HPA (hearing protection act) which essentially will do away with the $200 tax stamp and 8 month application wait through ATF for suppressors.

If it passes you will be able to buy a suppressor in just about the same way as buying a firearm. Makes total sense.

I am finishing up on my Remington 700 SPS Tactical/SBR aka short barrel .308 build. My Bell&Carlson stock arrived yesterday. It's been a fun and simple build for a decent budget 600-700 yard "target" rifle. Plan to rattle a few coyotes! A few pics..

After-I am really impressed with the high quaility of this Bell and Carlson stock.

Really like the fully adjustable stock- makes it easy to lockdown having the rifle fit me, in. Ith comb and LOP, not the other way around.

The home of a future suppressor. 1/10 barrel twist to assist in stabilizing a little heavier load.

Nice, I like it. What is the barrel length on that? 18"? If you reload for .308 Wideners has some 125gr bullets I use that are hell on coyotes.

+1 on the HPA too, I'm anxiously awaiting that and hope to pick up a few myself.

I want it to pass to save the money and hassle, but truthfully it does scare me a bit. It will be a game changer.
