Dealer is telling me they can’t install my new wheels as the factory lug nuts won’t work with my fuel octane wheels. What’s size lug do I need to get? There are several wheel/tire shops in the local area....just want to have some idea of what I need so I don’t go in blind. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Didn't your new wheels come with their own lug nuts?

Negative...bought the wheels online through 4 wheel parts....had the tires mounted and balanced but couldn’t put them on before the lift install today due to possible rubbing

It’s due to the wheel size. Look into ET (extra then) lug nuts. Basically, for safety you need more turns with the lugs.

First problem is that you bought anything from 4 wheel farts. They should have asked you...." Do you need lugs?". Check out WheelersOffroad.com

I did the lowrangeoffroad.com 3/1 lift and level. Came out to just over 3 in the front and about a 1 1/4 in the rear

Looks great! Why did you choose that over bilstein 5100? I am debating between the two. I would appreciate your opinion.

Ride seems fine...no different from stock...at least that's what my butt is telling me....Yes I had Lithia Toyota in Missoula do my install and alignment...think it was about $300 with alignment for the install....Just my peace of mind knowing that a trained Toyota technician did the work.

Extended Thread lugs are good until the extended thread part breaks off and you can no longer get your wheel off. Ask me how I know. Its not fun being 50+ miles from pavement and unable to get the wheel off. Seen it on multiple Tundras - the correct way is extended studs for aftermarket wheels
