upload_2017-9-13_21-30-5.jpg More braking candy. Saw these up close at Kadena AFB, Okinawa in 1980. Still nothing better or faster.. (unless a new bird made by us and we haven't had the privilege of seeing it yet) My definition of Hot Rod

Wish I can find something like this for my Tundra. These are the brakes I blindly trust. I heard good reviews about TRD brakes but they are 2k or more

TRD's are worth it if you have the scratch. I think you need to have 20" rims. Don't quote me on that...

U are right, requires 20 inch wheels and that's what I have. I will eventually need it but not now. Let me see if I can bother my contact in Japan to help me w this.

I went with DBA Slotted Rotors & TRD Pads.
Very quiet, very little dust and Stopping Power WAY Better than the OEM Stock.
Had them put on while I was having the King Shocks Installed.
    Very Happy !!!

+1. Use these on my vette, my tundra, excursion and is my go to when doing brakes for anyone else. Never had a bad experience. They buy thier blanks and the slot and drill. Quality seems decent and consistant.

Have you looked at the Toyota TRD brake pads/? I have heard a lot of very good reviews from guys that use towing RVs. They are semi-metallic, more dust but stop better than ceramic. Most are metallic mix, more ceramics percentage used has to warm up to be effective. IMO the brakes are the weak point of these trucks, due to the weight of the truck. I had to have my front rotors turned @ 25K due to warpping, swapped pads. Less fade and shorter stopping distance on 2014. Inspected at 45K, 80 percent of pad left. I pull 7K travel trailer, this is where I had fading-BAD FEELING!
