I’m on 33.5s and 20. Next set of tires are 35s and I’m doing this and probably also a true LSD. I’m half considering doing the gears now. Just the extra weight on mine I can tell a difference.

35s and 4.88 for sure. But these tires still have probs 20k miles so I’m waiting for that

??? For 33s and above?? I've got 34.5" and have been thinking it might be a good idea. I notice it doesn't hold 6th well on the freeway, the slightest incline and it's down shifting.

I do that now, but would prefer not rolling around in tow mode to get my torque back.

I drove to Panama City and back in tow/haul mode. I would rather have the regear if I were in your shoes too.

I too recently changed out my gears to the Nitro 4.88s and Auburn LSD.
    I'm on 35 Toyo MTS and 20x10s.
Whew, what a difference. My acceleration is back almost like stock and zero gear hunting.
The engine seems to be working less, meaning I do not have to press the pedal as much for my truck to do the same thing.
On the freeways, its a beast, and can accelerate so much faster.
Keep in mind, my RPMs did go up slightly. Initially on my set up, my RPMS were at 1950 at 70MPH (speedo uncalibrated) now at 70MPH my RPMS are at 2050.
However, I'm pressing the gas pedal less.
There is no extra noise that I can hear or any cons so far. Honestly should have done this awhile ago.
I really enjoy driving her even more so now.

Also side note, Auburn LSD calls for NON Synthetic 80w90 Gear Oil with the Auburn LSD Additive.
Do not use Synthetic Gear Oil with the Auburn as it will void warranty but more importantly may cause chatter in turns etc

I also have the 4.88 gears and Auburn LSD. Rolling on 20x9.5 (35x12.5 Toyo MT). I am experiencing all the benefits every one has said thus far. almost all of the power or pep of stock. yes with the tow button on it is really fun again. no more gear hunting, I go into 6th gear and actually stay there. but someone said that the traction nannies will not be activated. Mine always activate when I accelarate make a left of right going on to traffic. It robs power and the truck hesitates. It is actually dangerous because I slow down and no longer accelerate. It does this even if I turn off the nannies by doing the traction control hold down three times to get to VSC Traction Control is off on the guage cluster display. Other than that I love seeing two tire tracks when the rear breaks loose.
