Think I'm gonna try to get the bed sorted out. I need a toolbox so I can get some of the stuff out from behind the seats. It's all jammed in a milk crate and it slides around. I've also had my eye on a bedrug as my spray in is pretty beat. Ive recently been looking into making a custom floor console for a lowrance GPS. Seems like a handy little tool to have.

Took it out for a spin behind Lake Mary. I love some gravel.

Went to get the truck aligned today as my steering wheel wasn't centered. The guys at the shop couldn't break the camber bolts or tie rods loose . They were nice enough to charge me $40 for the trouble. I took it home, torched the tie rods and was able to bust them loose without a whole lot of trouble. Guess they loosened them up for me :p. I figured I'd try my hand at aligning it while I was under there and was able to get it good enough with the help of a buddies laser eyeballs. Got the oil changed while I was under there and noticed that the water pump is leaking. Get to tackle that one next!

I've also developed a nice popping while turning in parking lots and on speed bumps. Probably time to just replace all the control arms.

    Bad ass build.

The PBR is a nice touch on the reservoirs. Made me laugh at least.

Are you still running the turn down?

Have you had any heat related problems where the exhaust exits?

I’m back! Truck kinda went the way of an overland style build so I figured I’d update.
Shell is an older slide in utility unit with the ambulance style doors. Was pretty rough, but a solid score for $400. I ended up repairing all the damaged fiberglass and filling in all the holes for the parts I wasn’t gonna keep. I also glassed the side opening door into the shell and blended it flush for a cleaner look. I was originally gonna paint match it to the truck but ended up getting a wild hair to repaint both the truck and the shell. I decided on raptor bed liner in federal field drab (coyote brown) for the color change. The bottom half of the shell that sits in the bed was done in black to blend with the spray in that’s already in the truck. Most of the accessories like the roof rack, mirrors, grille insert (More on that later) etc will be satin black. I have the shell painted and mostly assembled but waiting to finish painting the truck before final assembly. Hopefully tomorrow is the day.

Didn’t quite get it sprayed. Need some help pulling the bed off but it’ll have to wait until the fourth.

Wow that’s wild looking. I like it. What poundage air compressor you spray it with? I need to do some rust repair on my truck and wanted to do something similar.

I have two of the harbor freight 2.5hp compressors hooked together. One would be fine if you weren’t doing large panels.

It’s half EAG and half TRD pro. I found a wrecked pro grille on ebay, cut out the center and stuck it into the EAG grille.

Yup, Remington. The Howa/weatherbys are better rifles though.

I have several rifles of both brands. The stainless barrel Remy 700's shoot as well as any Wby I have including the Mark V's. Sorry about the derailing of your truck thread!
