Just got done installing the JBL Enhancement kit from OEM Audio Plus and have to say I really like it. The highs are louder and the bass hits good , granted I am not an audio expert but this is really a step above and beyond the oem JBL system.

This kit replaces all 4 tweeters and the oem subwoofer. Install is actually pretty simple and took me a couple of hours to install. You have to install two plugs on the oem JBL amp which clean up the original sound, transfer the female plug from the oem subwoofer to the new wiring harness, remove front rear seat, remove and replace the oem subwoofer with the new oem subwoofer box, run the 12 volt wire and remote bass control wire down the driver side to the front of the cab, pass the 12v through the firewall and connect it. I ran the remote bass control wire under the dash up through the center console. I installed the remote bass control on the center console tray in front of the shifter.

I know you can purchase other setups for alot cheaper, but I really like the easy install and the fact that this was specifically made for our trucks.

I just got mine installed a week ago and still enjoying the new sound. Im interested in what settings your using on yours. I leave the sub control at min. Highs. 1-2 from max
Mids. -1 from zero (the middle)
Bass. Usually at zero, and up a few
    Clicks from the middle (zero)
    And adjust with genre.

I listen to mostly country, and rock, metal, but will listen to some old school rap and some hiphop that i will turn the bass on the head unit down a few notches to be able to get the volume up.

I havent had a chance to ness with it. I still have the settings from before the install and I liked how that sounded. I have the high 1 from max. Mids 2-3 from max and bass 2 past 0. The remote bass control I have right above 0

I ordered/paid my JBL Enhancement on 26 November, hopefully I get it next week. For those of you that already installed it, did it come with good PDF instructions? I looked on their web site but the only PDF I can find is for the big system with all new speakers that is for the non-JBL trucks.

Also, did the 4 tweeters fit securely in the factory locations? The install video doesn't show that or where the cross-overs for the front door woofers go.

    Thanks

The instructions are easy to follow but the pictures are dark. You can hardley tell whats in the pictures. The tweeters fit just like the oe tweeters. There are a couple of youtube videos on the install which will help you alot. One is the general install and the other is for the transfer of the plug off od the oem jbl sub. Daniel at OEM Audio + can give you those links to the videos.

    Thank you!

To bad about the poor instructions, the one for the other system look really good and I can use some of that. I just noticed that you have the Rockford Fosgate amp, I think they now switched to their own version.
