Anyone else experience a creaking noise after install of Toytec shackles? Have less 1000 miles on them and they make a ton of noise under any driving condition. Took it to the dealer because it seemed more like the bed creaking to me but they swear its the shackles? Any suggestions?

I HAD A CREAKING NOISE ALSO, MINE ARE SET FOR 1'' HEIGHT. MY CREAKING WAS COMING FROM CONTACT AT THE TOP OF THE SHACKLES.(LOOK CLOSE) THERE ARE BOLTS COMING DOWN FROM THE TOPSIDE OF THE BED.(I THINK FROM THE SPARE TIRE RACK) I BACKED THE BOLTS OFF VERY LITTLE AND IT GAVE THE CLEARANCE I NEEDED. NO CREAKING ANYMORE!!!!

The leafs on our Tundras are known to squeak from the factory. Adding the shackles may have exacerbated that existing problem. I think some folks have gotten rid of it by spraying silicon based oil edge-on to the leafs. Might be worth a shot (or two, so to speak)

I appreciate the input! I'm picking up the truck tonight, I'll have to take a look. Thank you!

I know what you are referring to here. I tested mine with Toytec and there was no contact with this bolt at full droop or full compression on my 2012. I'm sure that every truck isn't exactly the same so i could see where there could possibly be interference.
Backing the bolt off a hair, taking a file or grinder to it to take off an 1/16" would be all that is needed.

Sure thing, found the bolt on the passenger side making contact with the shackle. Small adjustment and its gone! Funny the dealer had it all day and never found this. Thanks again!
