Are you talking about the oil pressure gauge? If so, it's normal for it to read lower at idle and higher when you accelerate.

Finally managed to get my 5100's and OME coils installed took a ridiculously long time due to unforeseen part mismatches and my idiocy. Now to tackle the sway bar and steering rack bushings tomorrow.

The bushings all went in easy as could be so here's the obligatory pic. I'm happy it finally sits mostly level.

Winterized by oiling the underside, changed the oil and lubed the drive shaft. Then rounded it out with a wash.

diagnosed the issue with my 4wd today. its the whole cluster behind the buttons. no resistance across the pins, following the toyota SM.

Replaced the lower ball joints in my 3rd gen 4 runner. Glad i did, they were on their way out. 289k on that truck.

That looks good. Did you have to scuff it at all first before you dipped the chrome, or no?

Got my tires rotated today. That makes 10,000kms on my set of Cooper ST Maxx tires. They still show almost no wear and tear.

Got the new Duratrac's on installed my new rear shocks and washed and waxed the ol girl. Now just have to sand the canopy and match it to the truck and I'll be satisfied.

I mounted a 2.5lb ABC extinguisher in my truck. 3 self tapping screws hold the mount against the hump under the rear seat of my double cab. The seat moulding has a little notch, almost as if they expected people to mount a fire extinguisher there. It fits perfectly and will be quick to access even with the back seat loaded full of gear. I just had to notch out my Husky liner to accommodate the body of the extinguisher.

Took off the nerf bars. They were rusted where they mount to the frame, my MIL stepped on it to get in and it broke. Finally took them off.
