A little of this and a little of that.

That looks real good! I wonder what it would look like if your painted the grille emblem a silver color to match your paint job...

Whole grille is getting blacked out as soon as I can get to it. My daughter said it looked like a mustache and goatee, lol. I tend to agree with her now that she said it. I am going to vinyl wrap the bumper endcaps to match the paint, and might attempt the emblem now that you said that. Might look really good. Thanks for the input!

Filled in the grill and changed the grill badge to Gray, which matches the gray I painted my center cap emblems, so there is a bit of cohesiveness to the scheme.

Just an update on my grill I did white 2 weeks ago, I decided to remove it yesterday. I'm not sure if it's the white plasti dip and maybe it's supposed to feel and look this way but still after two weeks it feels wet to the touch. Also even after so many coats of it I feel like I can start to see chrome thru the paint. I've used the black a ton of times and it's never had that feel to it so I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and get a grill already painted super white.

Yeah actually had a can of gray plasti dip I started with sort of like a primer. I only did 2 coats with it though maybe should have went thicker.

I dig that, i'm actually doing the same thing on my 911 right now, but i'm fully committing and powder coating them. I've always dreamed of owning a porsche with gold 3 piece wheels, but I fucked up and bought a silver porsche. I also liked the look of the gunmetal that was on the ccw classics originally. So I ended up doing one side gold, one side gunmetal. Should be done this week, waiting on new barrels to widen the rears.

How many coats of plasti dip is everyone applying to their wheels? I put 3 coats on and they seem to be peeling in a few spots after just a few days. I cleaned the wheels very well before applying so I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with it.
    Thanks

On the wheels I would apply at least 7 coats

Gave it a shot on my 2015 Tundra today. Grill.and bulge in black, toyota emblem and bulge grating in red. Had to use Rust Oleum Flexidip for red because store was out of plastidip and the red has a pink look to it. Not sure if I'm keeping. Planning on doing the bumper ends in black next.

I think that looks bad ass! I just picked up another good bulge today for $35....I was debating on doing what you did in the same blue as my emblem.

I disassembled the bulge to paint it. Made it a lot easier. Just 5 or 6 screws and the two pieces come apart. We'll see how it holds up

    Only dipping I have tried.
Real question for users, how to you use it on the outside of the truck? What about car washing, high pressure water, some one leaning on it, or love bugs(though I was gonna wear off the paint last month)?

Works well. On my build page I showed it on a video and it’s worked well so far.. been out of town 4 times already with my truck and bugs all over the place.. I get my truck cleaned every 2 weeks. Looks good so far.. that’s over 8 months ago
