    See fine print
Metal if your going to use it. Metal is stronger.
Alum if it’s a street truck because it’s lighter. Better mpg.

Aluminium dents and bends easier than steel. I ran into a huge boulder that was used to stop vehicles from entering a trail. Not a dent or scratch in my steel skid plate.

The skid on my bumper is aluminum. It's has scratches from hitting crap and looks seared from my old cable rubbing against it from a bad angle and situation. My steel skid plate is infront of my diff that was part of the BDS lift kit. I guess it'll work depending on what skid you go for.

I second guessed myself buying the steel plates for weight savings but after seeing the huge gouges on there, I’m kinda glad I did. Can’t imagine the aluminum taking that kind of abuse.

    Aluminum won’t rust.
    Both will do well.

Steel is where it's at for off roading! But then again aluminum is soooo good looking

We offer the whole lineup here at Toytec!

By weight Aluminum is stronger then steel since the Aluminum plate is lighter you will have to assume the Aluminum plate is equal at most in strength.
