i am wanting to do a 3 inch lift on my 09 tundra but am not sure of the best way to do so. should i do a 3/1 and will that level it out? or a 3/3? also are the front blocks a reliable lift or should i go with the new coilovers/suspension?

A 3/1 or 3/2 with coilovers in the front. You can deal with spacers if you don't off-road, but coilovers will always be a more comfortable ride. I'm shooting for a 3/1.5 to retain some rake.

i will probably end up doing the 3/1 with blocks and since its the cheapest route and end up getting new coilovers down the road. i would like to fit 35s but idk if i could since mine is an '09 and might sit a little lower than a '13

I'm going with the Toytec/Radflo 2.5's myself, mainly because I plan on getting off road once it goes on. Either that or the Toytec Boss lift, which are 2.0 coilovers, would work well for what you're doing. If ya want to go a little cheaper you can go with Bilstein 5100's or 6112's.

I had a 2012 on 35”. Proper wheel offset, and removal of mud flaps and she was good to go. I had the OldMan EMU kit. Now, I upgraded to the BOSS kit and set it to 3.5”
