I currently have a 2007 Red crew max Tundra that I have given my son with approximately 220, 000 miles. I put a 3" lift kit, 20" Monster wheels and Nitto Terra grabblers. He's pretty stoked, pretty nice 17th birthday gift. I currently own a 2014 DC Tundra which I have added 3" inch lift kit, fender flares, undercover bed cover, tinted front windows and currently put the new Nitto EXO tires 305/55/20. I glad to be part of the Tundra family, someone who shares my excitement for trucks and place to get new ideas. My current wish consist of installing cold air intake and dual exhaust. Welcome to ideas and suggestions. Question: if I get both installed, do I need to make any modifications to the engine codes?
    thanks.

Some guys are saying they getting whistle at low rpm's and losing low end torque. What are your thoughts on this?

Even with the stock air filter I could faintly hear the whistle on my 13. The additional flow of air and possible less material to buffer the sound make the whistle pretty loud. I couldn't stand it. There are two things you can do to get rid of the whistle for good. There is a rubber and metal waffle gasket bolted behind the throttle body. You can take it out and trim the metal waffle out of it of you can buy the gasket that goes in the sequoias. I just bought a new on for mine. I've got the part number listed in my build. https://www.tundras.com/threads/truckytrucks-build.66/

    Nice trucks too. Welcome

I added the KN air filter to my 2015. It does produce a whistle. But nothing that annoying.
I also added Dirty Deeds 8" exhaust, not duals. I am extreamly happy with the sound. With the filter and exhaust I gained a solid 1 1/2 mpg.
The $400 plus that companies want for a CAI is not worth it. Just my 2cents

No insurances policy but got pulled over going 90 in a 45. I told the Officer I am in a Yugo it won't go 90. He let me off.
