    Good day,

I have owned my truck for 1 year next week, bought new, 12xxx KMs. To date I only have a few items to complain about, mostly just stuff I can fix by draining the wallet.
This issue however is absolutely driving me insane!!! To the point where steering the truck into a bridge support seems like a good idea....ok not really that bad but one of these days...

I seem to have a "clicking" in my interior. It doesnt happen consistently but when it starts on a drive it doesnt seem to stop. I know for sure its on the passenger side. Sometimes it goes away when I bang on the visor, other times it only goes away if a passenger tugs on the ohshit handle.

Has anyone experienced this? Im about to remove all of the plastic pieces on the passenger side and put foam behind.
Is there somewhere specifically I can look?
Possibly a fix where I dont have to remove anything?

    Thanks in advance.

Heres a pic in case you forgot what a Tundra looks like.IMG_20170521_125243.jpg

Get a stethoscope and have a passenger narrow it down.

Now there is an idea. I was having a look from the passenger side and noted that the ohshit handle has a little play in it. I am assuming besides the clips that hold the pillar piece in place, the handle is what keeps her tight.
Should I be concerned about any airbag wiring if I start removing pieces?

Dude, I have some weird creaking that seems like it comes from the passenger side bottom corner of the windshield haha it's only at first start up when the outside temp drops.

I may have tracked my issue. I think the headliner was slightly touching the roof or windshield and a small patch of "glue?" was tacking and untacking. Rolled up a small piece of fabric and tucked it in there. Also noticed what I believe to be the drain for the sunroof wasnt clipped down properly.
Bout to take a test drive, wish me luck.

Also those plugs for the ohshit handle are ridiculous, broke the tabs off both but they still clipped in well.

I feel like the cabs have a little bit of flex to them (more so than my taco at least). Is yours a crew max as well?

Yea a CM. I'm pretty sure that's all it is so I haven't worried about it. Just more noticeable in colder weather until the truck warms up.

This thread is a truck-saver! After over an hour of enduring the incessant clicking (on the driver's side), the temptation to smash or pry anything within arm's reach was near its peak. The sound was difficult to isolate, but it seemed probable that the headliner was at fault. After rummaging around the cab, I found one of my business cards, and using it as a shim between the liner and windshield SOLVED THE ISSUE! It's a temporary fix, but only an aesthetic inconvenience.

Thanks to everyone who posted! sketch-1516488399095.jpg
