I currently just finished installing my front kings with adjusters pre set to 3in and now I’m thinking of what do for my rear.

I also have the 2.5 Kings w/ resi/adjusters for the rear.

I often carry heavy loads in the bed. I currently have a shell with plans to also add a RTT.

Some mild off roading for me but mainly daily drive. I’m more of a spirited weekend warrior.

Would an add-a-pack and shackles be enough or do I need a full blown complete leaf pack?

A little of this and a little of that.
I’d go with the leaf pack if I were you by the description of how you use/are going to use it.

I believe you’ll get a better ride and less sag than just an add-a-leaf.

Any recommendations? I’ve mainly seen Icon’s but I’ve also seen Toytec.

I really can’t make any recommendations as I have a stock leaf in the rear. I thought about airbags as a cheaper alternative but it would make for a rough ride.

I want a Deaver pack for my truck.

Deaver U-748 leaf pack will be perfect for your needs. Great ride on and off-road designed to handle more weight. It's their expo pack. That's what I run on my truck.

And you did loose and load capabilities with this? Are you also using any lift shackles?

I have this as well. Drawer system, topper, rear bumper and spare added at least 600lbs. The ride is solid. Slightly stiffer than stock in the road but really nice in the dirt. I have the Camburg shackles along with Kings (resis with adjusters). Sounds like it’ll be a good fit for you.

Deaver does not list these on their web site. Not sure why. You will have to call and ask for them. I got mine through. SDHQ.

Another option would be Atlas or Alcan.

Did not loose any load capabilities these are designed to carry couple hundred pounds over the stock leaf pack. Yes I have heavy duty shackles believe they need to be a little longer with the deaver leaf pack. I got mine through MCM Fab. And everything that @smslavin said also.

same setup here but no plans to add RTT. Maybe a shell at some point though. Thinking going with ICON expansion pack to add 1.5" rear and cranking up KING at the front for leveled look plus diff drop to keep all the angles in check. what do you guys think ?

I went with the OME Dakar leaf packs. (I purchased my ADS Racing goodies from MCM Fab - but given how far away I live the shipping for the Deavers was going to be a lot, so MCM said that the Dakar leaf packs would be a good choice, which I ordered elsewhere ) I also installed a set of airbags to help with added load (have ordered a Four Wheel Camper) and Daystar airbag cradles to help with rear articulation. So far I've had 1000 pounds of flooring in the bed, and without the airbags inflated the rear dropped about an inch or so. I've been satisfied with the Dakar leaf packs so far.

What did the dakar leaf pack run you? It’s been hard to convince myself to run lead packs because I don’t want to loose my load capability with a softer rear

I don't recall the cost. I bought them from Toytec. They are a heavy duty spring, definitely will carry more load than the stock leaf packs. I chose them in part because I have a Four Wheel Camper on order.
