Looked through the forum but couldn't find a thread on it. Looking for suggestions on tire shine. I'm looking for longevity and wet shine!

WaxAddict was great for me! I also enjoyed Adams tire shine.

I like armor all. The one in the spray can that cleans and shines for like $5.00 a can.

I hate the gels as they usually end up spraying all over the side of the truck like boogers.

I recently got a gallon of aerospace 303 without even trying it first. The protection and semi-gloss sheen is A1.

    Flux capacitor!
Personally I like to use Bleche-Wite to clean my tires. It will get all the dirt and road grime off your tires. Spray on scrub with a corse brush and rinse off. Makes tires look brand new! Then you can apply a tire shine if you like. IMG_9935.PNG.jpg

That stuff sucks since Black Magic took it over. When it was made by Westleys it worked great. The closest I can find now to how the bleche white used to work is this.

Good to know. Meguiars makes pretty great stuff. I'm pretty heavily invested* in their car care products. After a heavy surfactant type cleaner (usually simple green or dawn dish detergent) I use their wash/wax (yellow gel stuff) and their spray wax (maroon bottle) and ultimate quick detailer (black bottle) in between waxings. I'll give this stuff a look.

    *relatively speaking

Meguiar's Tire Gel is #1. All other tire cleaner/shines are #2, or less.

Yes sir! I'll scrub, rinse and dry them off. I was using griots tire shine but the can doesn't last long.

+1 on 303. I use it on inflatable RIBS as well and it's tough to beat.

Live at the end of a mile-long dirt road and you won't have to worry about such things as tire shine.

I use chemical guy products, start off with diablo wheel gel and a wheel brush to clean off the tires and then I top it off with VRP (Vinyl Rubber Plastic), it’s water based and I like the results. The image below is before an after cleaning my father in laws tires that have been neglected their whole life. This is before adding tire shine.

Another vote for Wax Addict. I have always been a religious user of 303 and still use it on my interior. But for tires and exterior trim there is no better product than Wax Addict Tyre Conditioner, imho. My tires, door handles, cowl and bumper trim look brand new.

That's huge dude Great info!. That's exactly what I need with the weather pattern around here. I tried throwing some spray detailer on and it froze almost immediately. Then tried tire shine and that froze. My truck looked rediculious and i was aggravated. Great tools to have in the tool box!
