I have one and love it. Just the plastic one, it's great. A little intimidating cutting into the carpet of a new truck but easy. Watch their video.

I have the metal , three compartment, locking one and love it. Really increased the storage space. Just follow their instructions and use the provided template to cut the carpet and foam. Works great!

The metal one was my first mod, just like everyone scary cutting the carpet but well worth it. I love it.

I put TRD Pro dual exhaust on my Tundra and was thinking of the metal locking one as well but afraid I may get the road noise in cabin, does it sound any louder after installed,

    thanks

No, I have not noticed any increased road noise. I have the BAMuffler 10" cat back exhaust and can't tell the difference. Also, I had some leftover Dynamat sound deadener that I installed between the metal box and the floor pan and put some tool box drawer liner inside to keep rattles down.

some have taken the carpet piece that is cut out and used it between the box and floor pan too...not sure if its necessary, but can't hurt...

You’ll love it. It’s a little scary cutting at first but just follow template and it’s easy. Great mod.

Agreed, you'll love it. I used the carpet that I cut out to line the compartment with. Keeps the stuff stored from making any noise on the plastic.
