Will be picking up an OME 3" lift from ToyTec next Tuesday unless I get time tomorrow to drive up there. Time to dump the chrome nerfs. Driving down to the Springs Sat to check out some steps at Ranch Hand TruckFitters and may pick up some fender flares while I'm at it. Going to be a good weekend for my Tundra, not my wallet.

This is what I'm picking up Tuesday AM from ToyTec:

    Front_Differenti_4b5649f06bead.jpg Diff drop
Rear_OME_Sport_s_4b7d78c3b5d23.jpg Rears (the new OME Sport shock)

3__OME_front_lif_4a1713bd59bad.jpg Front OME Sport struts w/heavy duty 614 coils (assembled w/new top hats)

Deciding whether to get a pair of OME DAKAR rear springs Tuesday. I like Deaver but they are another $300 over the DAKAR's. ToyTec recommends these if you have 60K+ miles on original factory leafs. (What a coincidence, my Tundra has 61K). Another $520 :notsure:

Looking good. I would recommend that you get the Dakar springs. People who have them swear by them. I wish I would've gotten them when I got the other parts (for the same shipping price). If I were to order them now, I have to tag on a little less than $200 for shipping, which pisses me off, which deters me from getting them at this point.

I may add them in a month or so if I don't get them Tuesday. Only takes a half hour to drive there. I've swapped out leafs before. Not a big deal. I've got my eye's on a couple of pop up campers that may or may not affect my budget, plus I just ordered a left hand bolt Savage Bear Hunter Model 16/116 .375 Ruger that set me back a few. Main thing is to lose the front spacer setup.

Edit: Gander Mt just called me to let me know they made a mistake. Savage doesn't make a lefty Bear Hunter model 116. Largest caliber is 338 WIN Mag. Have to go with right hand Savage Alaskan Brush Hunter chambered in .375 Ruger. I shoot left or right handed, prefer left. Good to go.

Ordered these off Amazon. Will fit most light bars. Good rock shield: ttp://www.amazon.com/CLEAR-COVER-light-dual-180w/dp/B00PI5Q7C2/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1441596286&sr=8-11&keywords=led+light+bar+covers

Decided the 5" flood beams were not the way to go. Swapped for two more 6" spot beams. The red/black KC soft covers were 1/2 off today at Pep Boys $15 a pair instead of $30. $30 a pair is a bit much. Two pair for $30? Done deal. Naturally store had only one pair. Bringing in another pair at 2PM. Will mount the 5" flood beams on each side of the lowest horizontal side tube on the grill. Angled for maximum flood light effect. (Maybe)

After a couple of beers (okay , maybe a more than a couple) and a few moments of non-silent lucidity, I realized where I could put my 5" KC flood beam lights. (all I need now is to have @csuviper say he knows how to mount them to save me the trouble. heh heh)

Sorry I do not know off hand. Never replaced fog lights. Nothing a little google searching can't find.

I'm going underneath in a few minutes to figure it out. Will no doubt be making a few trips to ACE. Got the rest of the day off.

I'll be driving back up to AK in the near future. I drive pretty much non stop when I do and usually driving all night. This time I want plenty of light options. I came close to hitting all kinds off critters, the kind that can ruin your day/life. heh heh

The jury is still out on the light bar. Need to see how it stands up to our winter weather with all the temp changes and such.

Talked to Dylan of course and Scott and another guy whose name is lost on me now. Doug went inside and pretty much disappeared. They were out of the rear shocks and getting them later this afternoon from somewhere.

Tanner I think. Saw and talked to a few as they were coming in to work. I hung out in the lobby for a few and then went out to check out the rigs. So far best mod is the FJ Avery Brewery tap by far. heh heh

I did talk to another employee, a black guy, outside for a while but I didn't get his name. One thing for sure is that all the guys I talked to are very knowledgeable.

The only problem having to go back up there today is I'll probably spend more money. (Maybe Dylan planned it that way? heh heh:spy:) Come to think of it there was a real nice ARB recovery strap that caught my eye.

I noticed the FJ's, 4Runners at ToyTec were running these rims which also caught my eye big time, basic but bad ass and almost $300 piece for 18X9's: bfdblack-300x290.jpg
