Are aftermarket bump stops worth it? If you had to choose, just the rears? Fronts? Or both? I get the concept they help with absorption but don’t they limit suspension travel? School me please........

I had them on the rear of my Tacoma and loved them. Absorbed big g-outs and softened the last part of the travel really nice. Ran superbumps from wheelers in the front. I'm gonna do bumps on the rear of my Tundra soon as ADS releases their kit. I also have super bumps on the front of the Tundra. They are nice to have if you gonna be doing alot of offroading. And look cool

Hmmmm thanks, I think I’ll get some. Have you heard of sumo springs? It’s like a combination of a bump stop and airbag for the rear, pretty kewl

They work great if you get the right ones.

In this video, you can hear at .31-32 sec me getting into my bumps. (Click click) I run 250 psi in mine.

Cool Jeep! So essentially, they act like a miniature shock absorber?

I run the Icon bumpstop kit on the back of my truck. I think it is literally the best thing I have put on the truck. I don't have any good pictures of them on my truck but here they are on the Icon Tundra

2 hours. The hardest part is grinding and air hammering the stock rivets out.

Exactly, and prevents hard bottoming a shock.

A little tip on installing Rear bump stops. Remove the fuel pump ECU on the inside of the frame! It’s not physically in the way but it doesn’t like all the vibrations from the hammering to get the frame rivets out. I find out the hard way when my truck would intermittently not start or sometimes stall.
King Bump stops work great, primarily installed mine to limit up travel with 37’s.
