Sorry if this has been answered before, but what is the best way to get them off?
We just went through love bug season here in Texas, and I was having to clean tons of these off every day.
Even doing that, some are still not wanting to come off. I’m afraid to scrub too hard. I have the same problem on the windshield.
I didn’t do a good job of keeping them off my wife’s Sequoia, so they’ve pretty much become part of her truck over the years. They’re just not ever coming off. I’d like to avoid that mistake on this truck.

Try using fabric softener sheets. Wet your grill and the sheet and you’ll be surprised how easily they come off. I live in south Louisiana so I’m pretty much an expert on love bug removal!!

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
I detail cars so for me and my clients I use Invisable Glass cleaner from Stoner out of Quarryville PA. I buy from them by the case but the glass cleaner is safe for tinted windows and our chrome covered plastics. It eats the bug guts. I believe you can buy the glass cleaner at Walmart or select auto stores.

I would recommend spraying down with the glass cleaner in a shaded area on your windshield and grill, let sit for 15 minutes then re-apply. Depends on how bad it is, you can wash with soap and water or use a soft cloth to remove bugs.

I clean my grill daily especially working at night my grill is a magnet.

    Hope this helps

Down here in Florida we combat those little monsters too. I usually get an old beach towel soak it in my car wash soap and lay it on the front of the truck. Let it do the work for you while washing the rest of the truck. Mine usually wipes off pretty easy after that.
