I will be replacing my original leaf springs soon...

I want to restore the original ride height, and end up with original or better ride quality.

I am looking for suggestions that deliver OEM or better quality, what do you recommend?

Also, what is the difference between standard Toyota leaf springs, and the 'Off-Road' leaf springs?

    Alcan builds custom leaf packs.

Might want to look into a quality shock as well.

I used ALCAN years ago when I had my T100, I appreciate the reminder.

I have purchased a pack or two from them. I was happy with the results.

Alcan and Deaver would be the first two I would look into.

Another vote for Alcan. Their leaf packs are tuned to work with Bilstein 5100, HD and other gas charged shocks.

I had custom alcans on my Tacoma for moderate load. Worked well and gave me good height even with a bunch of weight.
Definitely look into a good shock setup. I had 5100's and I feel like they couldn't keep up with the alcans.

I put some OME DAKARS on my old tacoma. It did raise the ride height and we're stiff but that was fine with me. They would haul more weight. I don't think the DEAVERS are made to haul any weight but the ride is good. Some pull one leaf out of the Dakars to lower and soften the ride. I think Alcans are between the two. I was looking at Alcans but found a deal on the Dakars.

Yes, they can. I run the heavier ones and I believe @Tacotundra does as well. For whatever reason, they don't list them on their website.

Just submitted a quote app. to them. My springs look pretty flat and are bouncy as all hell, just bought the truck. Want to go with something that can do mild Off roading and hauling, but not be limited. Looking for maybe 3" of lift but want to see that I'm level with the Icon coils up front (stage 1 I believe).

Mind telling us what you spent total?

You install them? Done leafs before, just not on a full size truck.

Yep I read that. I figure Alcan is a good option too for here in CO. Texas is a little far.

There was a good spring shop down in FL that helped me out on my Tacoma back in the day, granted they de-arched them for me because I was going down, not up, but they were leaf spring gurus like that and mostly did bigger rigs.

Custom stock replacements because they new I was going to hang them under the axle... I don't believe they charge more for lift or capacity increases.
