Hey guys I'm pretty new here but have been lurking for awhile. I've been searching (yes, I've looked at every page on the thread for wheels/tires) for a few days and I couldn't find a specific yes or no answer to the question I have and I need some help. I have a 2015 SR5 w/ TRD Offroad package. I just had a 3/2 leveling kit put on and I want to run BFG 33's specifically. Before I spend the time and money going to the tire shop, I'd like to know for certain if I can fit a 33" KO2 preferably or KM2 secondary on these stock wheels. If I can, what size would be ideal? If I cannot, I really like the XD Rockstar wheels and would want to get them, however I am unsure of what size to get. I am hoping you guys can help me sort out my decision. Also, I am planning to in the future get a 7" BDS lift when I have the cash. If I have to buy wheels now to fit BFG 33's, it'd be ideal to have a wheel that would work with the higher lift/35's. Really appreciate the help!

Howdy! From NJ. I will post some soon, nothing much to see right now! Just a goofy looking 3/2 lift w/ stock TRD wheels and tires! :) lol

33’s should be no problem, you can go bigger. You might as well stuff some 35’s in there now.

2x or 4x? Why so high? Just curious i came into lifted scene blind bought a used '14 with a RC 6" lift with 35s 20x9 wheels no spacers not so crazy bout front cv axle angles tweaked also turning radius decreases and rear crossmember is cut so I can't lower i wanted to go 4" I'd avoid a spacer lift it's a rough ride and your shocks up front won't be able to "travel" more but this is my opinion so others here will chime in and assist you good luck and Welcome again

    33 x ?????

    275/70r18 is 33.15" x 10.85" in the bfg KO2.

I've got them on stock TRD off road wheels with stock TRD off road suspension. No rubbing. They fit just fine.

You can probably go 34"x 12" without rubbing (maybe heating & moving wheel well liners).

Is 12" too wide for a 8" rim though? I guess thats my main concern. That and is the offset going to cause issues running a 33" KO2?

Welcome. 33s will fit fine on stock wheels. But, some places like Costco won't install a tire that's more than 3% larger than stock. If they're 12.5 wide your likely to have issues with the uca clearance. Good spacers like Bora or Spidertracks will solve that issue. For the lift you want down the road, I think a 5" off set is required? With the 7" lift you'll probably want something more like a 37" tire and re-gearing.
So, put the 33s on and start saving for the whole new set up.
    Just my .02

Not sure what brand lift you have but I basically have the same thing through Toytec. At first I had 2757018 on stock steelies. They rubbed the skid plate on sharp turns. Then I went 2756020(33’s) on 20x9 xs wheels with a zero offset. Perfect fitment. No issues.

Thanks! Won't look dumb right? Is 35" the preference for a 3" level kit? Just want to make sure I make the right decision here before I spent a bucket of money.

I'd need new wheels for a 35 though right?

It’s your choice. Personally I thought 35’s looked to big on a 3”. Just my opinion. It’s your truck. Build what YOU want.

On a stock wheel it will suck the sides in. Would look better with a wider wheel.

Pretty sure I'd be happy with a subtle 33 KO2. I HATE these stock michelins, junk tires. I'd never buy that brand again after seeing how janky the stockers were.

Depends on your use. 95% pavement and 5% Forrest / farm/ hunting trail roads? Then yes, you'll be fine (even though it's not recommended). If you're crawling hard and airing down to 15-18 psi you're gonna lose the bead.

I ran 12.5" tire on a 16" x 7.5" on my old f350 with no issues. Eventually swapped to a 10" for the look

Excellent, this is exactly what I needed to know. I'm not doing anything aggressive. Just want the look and to be safe with the family.

If you already have a 3/2, I'd go with a 295/70-18 or a 35 if it were me. Fills up the wheel wells a little better than a 33.

Just put the 305/65/r18 KO2's on and they seem to fit fine. I did have to bend up the skid plate though. Looks great!
