Hello all, finally found a place here in BFE Colorado that sprays bedliner. But its one I've never heard of called Vortex. The owner tells me its similar to Line-X, not quite as splotchy as Rhino Liner. For $500 I'm very willing to give it a try, but just curious if anyone has any experience with it, good or bad.

Have you looked into a quote on actual Line-X? The Line-X shop in Bozeman quoted me $499 for my CM. Might be worth a bit of a drive to get the known stuff.

That's the same price Bedliners By Line-X (Denver) quoted me for the non-premium for my CM. Might be worth a trip up to Denver.

We've been doing Vortex liners for years. Very similar texture as LineX and Bullett, lifetime warranty and repairable. One thing we do that a lot of places don't do, is pull all of the bed bolts and tailgate screws, spray and then reinstall the bolts and screws. Maybe something to inquire about when you have it done.

Yeah it's just a lot more convenient and less troublesome to have it done here, or even in my hometown, than it is to have to spend a day or two in Denver.

I didn't ask about that when I talked to the gentleman who does it, but I will insist on it when I have it done.

I think most shops pull them but it's definitely worth asking about. Ive seen many liners where the bolts are burried in liner material and if you ever need access to the inner workings of your tailgate or if the bed needed to be removed and cant get to the heads, its torch and grinder time. Just make sure he's got a T55 torx bit for the bed bolts.
