While replacing door checks in my '07, I noticed the original door speakers were in bad physical shape... I found this replacement door speaker kit. It looks like a decent kit, do any members have experience with this particular kit. The factory head unit works fine, so it will stay where it is.

Holy high prices Batman!!! I replaced my door speakers with infinity reference speakers and adapters for much cheaper. The sound is phenomenal! Focal are nice but I couldn’t rationalize the price point.

    Where do I find them?

BTW, I just found the same Focal IC 690TOY kit for $179.00 shipped.

Lots of options as far as speakers go. I went with component speakers but you could do 2 way coaxials as well. Found the adapters and speakers on Amazon but crutchfield is another good choice. If you are staying purely stock then you will need to look for speakers rated from 2w-XX xx being the upper wattage rating. Typically if the speakers are rated for say 6w-8w on the low end they recommend an amplifier. Coaxials shouldn’t present much problems in that arena as most are lower wattage requirements.

Those Focal's are in my truck. Best auto speakers I've heard..

Did you just swap them out with the factory ones, or did you add an amp to them also?
