Welded a shit ton today on my tundra. Lca bushings were siezed. Cut the arms out and pressed out the bushings. Welded straps onto arms to gusset the bushing eyelets. Don't wanna have a second Gen TACO oops happen lol

Then straightened a few bent tabs back and welded being them. They will never bend again. Installed new bushings and eccentrics and aligned it. Ready for a lift! Unfortunately my wallet isnt lol

Lotsoftoys, what parts (source) did you use to complete your PM? I'm almost due, and had always planned on using a "kit" sold by a member of another forum that was available on the bay (Volkstoy). He's been long gone from the bay though.
My 04 has 90k on her, so it's ready for the work to be done.

I'm a technician at a Toyota dealer, so I use and recommend oem parts.

Yesterday I installed my lift, wheels ans tires. Came out awesome. Looks and rides great.
Did ome up front with spc ucas, rear Deaver 3pack aal's with Toytec boss rear shocks, diff drop and stainless lines all the way around. Made a small bpv bracket as well. Stops better too;)
Wheels are the new 4runner trd pro wheels wrapped in 285/70 r17 Duratracs.

@jberry813 even got 3* of caster out of it and it doesn't rub! Lol

So I took my grill apart today aND managed to get the chrome mirror caps off without breaking them. Dipped everything black for now. We'll see how long it lasts.... looks so much better without chrome! Now I just gotta find a different rear bumper that doesn't have a huge dent in it. I'll paint it black ... then I can figure out some reverse lights:burnrubber:

Wow amazing Tundra, I wish I could find one in that color, but it is impossible to find. Whats your mileage and power after the lift and tires?
