Just picked up a 2017 Mag Gray SR5 5.7L 4x4 Dbl Cab after trading in the '12 Tacoma. Loved the Taco but I gotta say, I ain't lookin' back. Love everything so far about it. Was on the Tacoma forum but now looking foward to hanging out here some.

Now looking at seat covers. I had the CalTrend Neosupreme on the Tacoma. Was pretty happy with them (being on the beach). Any suggestions appreciated.

    Glad to be here!

Same here. Came from 2013 DCSB 4x4. I ordered Clazzios the day I picked up truck. They fit nice and worked deal with Clazzio guy. Red stitching inspired by the a Pro I wanted. I wanted a black interior but truck had graphite. I pulled rear seats to install. Headrests were worse part. WP_20170827_18_35_13_Pro.jpg WP_20170827_18_12_26_Pro.jpg

Hah! Quick avatar of the truck when I did the "test" drive. Waiting for a good beach day to get decent shots. Hey Stumpjumper, I was looking at those Clazzio covers awhile back when I had the Tacoma. Just decided on the Neosupreme since I'm dealing with sand and saltwater. How're they holding up?

Welcome from CO. Great color choice by the way. Best color to have for off roading, white is faster in the mall parking lots......heh...heh..

Welcome from Colorado. I have wet okoles and they do great with water. Neoprene as you know from the ones on your Taco. BTW white is tight!

I also need to get a shorter antenna. I had a shorter one for the Taco but forgot to swap it back out before I got the Tundra. I know it's not a bad idea with a taller truck to have that "warning" when the antenna hits something, but it's annoying to have it hit whenever I pull into the carport. I have 78" (and change) of clearance and the shorter one will work fine if I can find out what I ordered before. Been so long I forgot. Interesting story about the Tundra height...

Before I bought the truck, I measured the clearance in the carport and the lowest point was 78". The Dbl Cab w/18" wheels comes in at 76.4", according to the Toyota specs. Well...it was a little too close for me to trust the Toyota specs so I made sure to measure the actual truck at the dealership. Well...we're ready to measure....and nobody has a friggin' tape. I had removed all of my stuff from the Taco the day before so I had nothing. So the sales guy goes off back to the parts dept (and everywhere else) looking for one. He comes back about 15 minutes later with a tape in his hand. Great....let's measure from the highest point of the truck to make sure it'll fit under the carport. I unwind the tape and go....WTF ?? ...It's metric...they didn't have any other kind anywhere. So....the guy gets out his phone/calculator and we start doing metric conversions in the parking lot. After several tries, he gets it right. Looks like the truck will fit with less than 2" to spare. Pretty close but not impossible. Sure enough, after very carefully inching the truck into the carport to make sure...Voila! Less than 2" clearance but not an issue. I air down anyway for the beach so that's even better.

So now I need to find the best shorter antenna to replace the stock one. Preferably no higher than the cabin top. I've been looking but can't find the manufacturer of the one I ordered for the Taco. That one worked great.

    Any help appreciated.
