When I was searching on TIS for wiring diagrams and such for the 2018 Tundra, there was a section that showed a drawing of the new 18+ Pro Grille. If the info in the pic was correct, it kind of looked like a honey comb/mesh grill with the center bar and TOYOTA. There was a black square below the “OYO” that probably contained the electronics. I should have taken a screenshot but didn’t think of it till after my trial was up.

This was posted on this forum somewhere. Is this not a 18+ Pro. Have to look through the white covering on the grille. 7c00659f67c20caabfcbdcf87c63f088_c8fb8f812392a398d4f33aecb2399ff26fba1170.jpg84f3a565e340156f2f74416337475986_7a14de0ba1d03473f94a2432f2880bce158cc51a.jpg

Sure looks like a 18+ Pro to me. I need to do some recon work and see if the Grille is available for my '18 Platinum. I am not a fan of the fake hood scoop though.

I'm really on the fence about the hood scoop, part of me likes it.

Looks like the drawing I saw. Just thinking our loud, but some of the TSS-P hardware is located in the current oval emblem and the Pro has it mounted in a square shaped configuration.Would this mean that you would have to buy that piece in addition to the new PRO grille $$$$$

Great question, and hopefully the piece needed won't be too hard on the wallet. I am just glad that they are still making the Pro so us '18 owners can snag a Pro grille. Woohoo!!

You're probably right and if that is the case, then I need to order the new sport grille asap as it mirrors that of the Pro grille. Time to give Roman a call.

The TRD Sport, Toyota teased us with had a full body colored front bumper and 20" wheels. This one has the TRD PRO 18" wheels and the unpainted plastic bumper valance.

I thought there was no pro for 2018:notsure: I have not heard of this 18+ Pro. Looks like a Sport with possibly an optional grille? Can't even build a Sport on the Toyota Website yet.

If that radar thing with detection automatic stop whatever thing is called is the same as the rav4 I drove i'll stick with my 14 limited, it annoyed the shit outta me. I couldn't figure out how to turn it off on the rav4(I was driving soon as I got the rental so no time), yea its cool but I'm a very attentive driver and never need it but I guess its a cool feature, it stopped out of nowhere when the car in front of me slowed down and I still had a few feet to react on my own power/will. I definitely like the new look, good to see some change.

I do not think that feature would work well driving through the woods on the ranch I hunt. Also not sure how I could move a cow out of the way if it kept braking.

That doesn't look like a true pro grill.
I like the look of it though.

Hopefully someone buys a sport and doesn't want to scoop and will trade with me!

Totally agree. My wife's new Rav4 has it and fortunately it's very easy to turn off if you don't want to bother with it. You also have the option of scrolling through the various features to turn on/off what you want. It's a user-friendly system but does take a few minutes to initially figure it all out.
