Live in Maine, leased Tacomas for 9 years before making recent purchase. 2017 Tundra Limited CrewMax. My wife complained that our recent Tacoma TRD Dbl Cab was not as roomy as our SR5, so to please my wife I traded in the lease and purchased this Tundra. No more complaints about not enough interior room. Am I a nice hubby or what?LOL This thing is mammoth inside. At the risk of getting negative comments, why doesn't the Tundra have grab handles on the driver's side to help pull yourself up and in rather than having to use the steering wheel? Anyway, I probably won't be making many posts, but I will be doing a lot of reading so chat on.

Welcome from WI and congrats on the new truck. If I remember right, there's a thread or two on adding a driver side grab handle.

Welcome from the other coast. I don't know why Toyota removed the driver side "oh $41t" handle. Visibility maybe?

Well, let's see. Since last weekend and inspired by joonbug, I have ordered the driver's side grab-handle replacement post, WeatherTech in-channel window deflectors and door-handle cup clear Laminex plastic scratch protectors. (Shhhh, don't tell my wife, she will think I'm reverting back to my 2nd childhood.) Can't help it, I do like this truck and am having fun personalizing. I guess retirement will have to wait a few years. LOL. One thing I have noticed is how great it sounds considering it is just a stock 5.7 single exhaust. Maybe the Limited edition has something to do with it, I don't know, but I like it. Not used to the sound after many years of V-6 and 4cyl. So you can probably guess where my next question is going. Without hurting gas mileage (ouch already) and performance, what recommendations would those of you in the know suggest for my exhaust system while still passing inspection standards here in Maine. Thanks, guys. You are a wealth of info.
