I got my NSV LED hood bulge in today!

I do have it for sale but I haven't posted it for sale yet.

 

Damn that is pretty slick bro. Very nice addition. I emailed about one and I'm trying to gather my list.

I got myNSV light and was going over the wiring which all makes since but I have a red wire a blue wire and a t jumper that I have no idea what they are for? My light came with no instructions so I have no idea what theses wires are for?? Can any of you guys help me out? Thanks.

 

Maybe try find a thin red piece of transparent plastic to fit over n have same effect

If you click any of the buttons down before turning the truck off, do they automatically come on when you start the truck? Like start swiping right when turned on, I know they swipe when you arm and disarm. Also will it swipe when driving?

 

Yes if you leave the swipe button activated it will kick on each time you start your truck. It's illegal to drive with the swipe on. Its basically the same brithness of the lightbar but only a few diodes at a time. The main spot light bar is set out to only activate with your high beams. That's if you wire it up as per the manufacturing specs. You can bypass this if you want.

Are the outer leds always on when the truck is running? Anyway to turn that feature off and on?

How about at night with all the switches off? Do any of them stay on?

 

Yes side accent lights always stay on with truck turned on. They dim down a bit when you turn your running lights on. The only way you could tune off the side accent lights is if you rewired the stock set up. I wouldn't do that.

If it's night and your truck is running then the accent lights will stay on. I'm not sure if that answered your last question.

Yup. I got my Rigid Color shift control unit today for all my RGB rock-lighting. I'll post it on my build thread.

 

So, obvious question, but has anyone come across red or yellow lenses for this bar?

 

NSV doesn't make a yellow or other color lenses. I've already asked the main NSV rep. However you can install a clear 3m film over the light to make it a different color.
