Bumper lights started...

Cut in the Rough Country LED back up lights. Now just need to color match the bumper than install and wire up. Comes with a switch to turn off /on. Going to hook up the switch and tie into the reverse lights as well. Aftermarket bumper on eBay for $149

Color matching the bumper Silver sky. Leaving the lights black of course. Should go with my theme of black and silver well.

I have lights for doing this, just haven't done it for having to cut into my bumper. Will be putting it on a switch and tapping into the reverse lights. Will have to use a relay and diode from the reverse line. At least that's what I've been told since you'll be having power coming from two sources.

 

I've got the parts too, just can't get quite enough time to install. I'm interested in how you wire it.

Getting close to having time to install bumper..... Painted the screws heads black. More pictures to follow once completed.

 

Love the color matched look. I was going to do that with mine and paint them white, but needed the extra color to break it up a bit. Should be finished up on mine this morning.

Awesome man. I'm just trying to find some time to put my bumper on and have everything done that's the hard part. I have a bunch of other things as well I need to get done. Will definitely post pics when I'm done

It's funny when I started my light project it was supposed to be a few days. That was 2 months ago, and the hardest part is done . I'm actually using vinyl on the bumper caps, so we'll see how it turns out. Hoping to have them on this weekend.

use a relay with two wires going to theswitch side of the relay. One wire goes to your manual switch so you can turn it on anytime, the other will tap into your reverse light circuit. In that wire,install a diode so that when you flip the manual switch, your reverse lightsdon't come on.
