Did you use steel or aluminum?

Another question for as well bud...I made my own brackets as well, I wasn't spending $200 on brackets, before I drill into the truck, do you have any issues with those leaking water the way they are mounted? It disrupts the weatherstrip and I fear water leaking. Also, did you use the nutserts or????? any pics of the mounting to truck by chance? thank you

oh ok, you mounted to the upper face, that's interesting, my design will mount to the face adjacent to that. I decided to get a different style of nut, the fasteners guy was against selling me a $70 gun for 4 nutserts. thanks for the pics, really appreciate it.

This is the next project for my 07. Where did you mount your switch in the cab to turn your lights on?

I'm lazy and didn't want to run wire and add switches to my dash so I wired them through a 8 channel remote to operate the lights. I's nice to be able to turn them on from outside the truck. Real nice to turn on when someone is poking around my truck at night.

Now that is awesome. I like the idea of turning them on from outside. Very good idea. Post up the details/link to how you wired them up and remote/receiver details.

Your LED's in the hood are awesome. How much trouble was it to install them. I need more lights on mine.

is there a specific brand that's more preferable than the next or does it not matter?
example: doing just a one click quick search of "50" led light bar" I found them at summit for $550 and Amazon for $150.

Hey Guy's I'm here, Been spending all of my time building my jeep. As far as the mounts they were a pia to make and get the bends just right. I made my own because the others you could buy were junk or to light and would wobble a bit and fit to high. Sorry I wont be making anymore of those. In fact I don't even use the anymore as I have my bar mounted to my roof rack that I built.
