If the truck came with dipped grille, why don't you just put that back on?

Got a link for that? I tried to search for EAG 2008 (or 2nd gen) Tundra grill and the only ones that come up are for 3rd gens.

So it's out of stock on ebay where EAG sells a lot (I assume).
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/172402101207?_mwBanner=1&redirect=mobile
Maybe they will be making more, maybe not, but the name is:
EAG Vicious Conversion Mesh Grille With Amber LED Lights for 10-13 Toyota Tundra
EAG stands for E-Autogrilles and here is their facebook: That means you probably need a 07-09 to 10-13 grille hardware conversion kit as well.
My research says that kit should be anywhere from $40 to $80 dollars.

That is really nice. Especially if they color match it? Frame blends in with your hood like it is not even there. How much was it? Which is really nice if you ask me. Too late for me. Bought the Rock Warrior in black for $217.00 shipped and the Oem brackets to get it to fit my 08 for $80. Peace. D

Probably the direction I'm going to go, not sure if I'll leave it black, or have the surround painted silver to match. From what I can figure, silver was never one of the Rock Warrior colours, so factory finished silver isn't an option for me.

My vote is for blacking the grill out and knocking those chrome mirrors off with a big hammer.

I wish they would make a TRD Pro Grille for the 2008 Tundras.
I Love those Sooo Much !
You would think they would do more for us 2nd Gen. owners since Toyota sold close to 400,000 Tundras between 2007-2009.

I just replaced my chrome grille on my 2008 CM with a black Rock Warrior grille. I love the new look! It was super easy to install, it only took maybe 30-40minutes. It did show up with a crack in the plastic. The company refunded me the money for the grille because they do not have anymore in stock. This weekend I am going to try to fix the crack so it is less visible and I think ill be happy with it.

Next up, installing Baja Design fog lights!!

I’m about to do this exact thing to my 2008 CM. Did you reference any YouTube videos or other resources to do the removal and install including the conversion kit? I have all the parts but haven’t yet found a reliable guide. Any advice? Thanks!

I was on to this myself but I ended up doing this grill and got my surround painted.

Only the letters are white now as well.

This is how the truck looks after install. Debating whether to color-match the surround or leave it all black.
