How about a STT Pro Ridge Grappler hybrid? Problem solved. Things have changed a lot over the years. Back in the 60's to early 70's there weren't too many decent off road tires to choose from. Now........sky is the limit. Good for us and makes great discussion.

that combination should work :) you might need a little trimming of the mud flaps, however.

PLEASE POST PICS WHEN YOU ARE DONE. This is soooo close to the tire/suspension combo that I plan on doing. I'm leaning toward 295/70-18 due to my chosen rim being a 9", and the tires I want in a 275/70 only recommending to an 8", and I'm leaning towards 5100 in the front, no change in rear.

Also, when you post, please let me know what offset wheel you're using. :boink:

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that man. I wouldn't wish that on anybody. Hopefully you've raised them to be proper, truck loving little girls. Best of luck with all the custody and legal stuff!

On a better note....I cannot wait to see those on the truck.

I still say the STT M/T Pros are a totally different tread/tire. My Cooper Maxx s' are a better comparison for intended use as an A/T tire. I'll pull out my Pros out of storage and put them side by side with my Maxx's. I'm getting older but not blind......

My wife has sst's on her Tacoma which is great tire and pretty quiet. I have nitto trail grapplers on my tundra and they are pretty noisy so with what I know the sst's would probably a great overall tire

My Trail Grapplers where somewhat loud when treads got fairly worn. The Trail Grapplers were nice for sure but I liked the price point of the STTs and really like them. I hope my Maxxs' do well too. Still somewhat aggressive but not too loud on the highway.

Was able to do a trial run to see what needs to be trimmed. Need the mud flaps removed and either need to heat and try to push back or trim the front of the liner just a little bit. Otherwise I am happy sits dead even with the flares :D Can't wait to get them all on.

Cooper STT Pro "M/T", Cooper Maxx A/T Hybrid . Keep in mind my STT's have 11K on them.. The Maxx's have maybe 200 miles...

Had a set of STT Pro. Very aggresive off the road yet not too loud on pavement.
