The OEM headlights are acceptable, but just barely.
The OEM fog lights on 2017 SR5 are a joke. I don't drive in much fog, but living in the country, I'd rather have super-bright lights to blast ahead when needed, so my first thought would be to replace the fog lights with something BRIGHT— especially if the switch is right there on the turn signal.

I don't want a light bar unless it looks styled somehow for the truck. The ones that look like a bolted-on lego brick are certainly bright, but because I'm not flushing vigilantes for border patrol, I thought I would see what's new and cool in the world of truck lights.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

This is what I did for the front and bck of my truck for the extra light when needed.

You can nab the morimoto xb fog lights for about $160. Great upgrade

There's also a "how to" mount a double row 30"-42" lightbar in the valence above the license plate on a different forum. I did it and it's great.

I know what your saying. I have HID's for my headights and fog lights which are very bright but. On country roads I have a light bar like some other posts thats somewhat hidden. Its a great way to add light when you need it 20170907_210748.jpg

I like the mesh. It prevents anything from going through your grill or radiator...such as protestors. 8)

The Rigid fog lights are great also. They are just a little bit pricey.

Baja designs fog lights are really bright. I have the sport but if you need crazy bright you can step up to the pro series. 00455af81ecd37fd7acfe371ec6cadf6_66ae75731330b417d2f7b1e724257f101266372d.jpg

I wish Baja Designs would make a DOT fog like Rigid. I'm sure theirs would be brighter and A LOT EASIER to install and aim.

I'm not sure how strict your inspections are but I haven't been flashed when using my BD fogs.
