I'm still shopping for a '17 Tundra (actually a better selection than I thought there would be) and the cash back ends today. Think Toyota will reintroduce it after it expires tonight? Or am I out of luck on the cash back incentive this year?

even if it's not officially out there.... every day that passes while they have '17s on the lot, your negotiation power increases. Maybe they won't call it cashback and you'll just get a lower priced truck.... If you're getting cashback, it's because you're paying too much for the truck. I'd rather pay $x rather than $x+y to only get y back... what's the point? If you're financing the truck then you're paying interest on that $1500 over the term of the loan. If you're paying cash then financing really makes no sense

My experience is the net discount the same no matter what the rebate is. If you happen to find one that has been on dealers lot for a while they generally have a bigger discount. You can also do like I did when you don't like the one that has been in inventory for a while. Just tell them you want a different one at same price.
