    I need some kind of quick connect in case I have to take the bumper off. The other end of this will be going to my SwitchPro. Hunted around a little this afternoon but couldn't come up with anything. Does anyone have a pointer to something?

    2"CB shackles, bushings and 1 shim, lockerdown console vault, rear folding seat back mod, snugtop shell with opening side windows, 46g fuel tank, SDHQ sliders and hidden winch, Decked Drawers, Alcan leaf springs and got rid of the interior chrome
    Every auto parts store sells insulated male and female crimp on connectors for various wire sizes. I sometimes solder these after crimping and add heat shrink tubing.

    They are pretty decent quality as well, I bought 2 bags to keep on hand for various projects. I'd also suggest grabbing a soldering iron, solder and a tube of dielectric grease. I pack all connections with dielectric grease, weatherproof or not.

    I've got the soldering gear but have never tried the grease. I'll grab a tube.

    I use it on my boat for anything electrical.

    Funny Story:

    Buddy of mine has a much larger boat than mine and was "upgrading" his power distribution panels on the boat. By upgrading I mean he was getting rid of the "old" brass terminal style feed to a "new" tin plated copper POS. I jumped at the opportunity to take his old solid brass distribution panel off his hands. Got it home and hit it with some 800 grit on my finish sander. Took all of the oxidation off both rails and polished the oxidation off all the screws and lock washers. I now have that solid brass setup on my boat completely slathered with dielectric grease (been sitting in the elements for the last 2 years and looks like brand new). His new terminal block broke a week after he put it on the boat, plastic and tin plated copper FTL.

    You can also use it to weather pack heat shrink joints instead of paying premium for the "weather proof" style heat shrink tubing, its the same stuff. I cover all exposed wire/solder joints with the dielectric grease then heat shrink over the top of it.
