Anyone know of any way to deal with glare on the entertainment screen. When trying to look at the Nav screen (or others), the sun frequently causes too much light to where you can't interface to it. Is there a anti glare film or a recess kit to reduce the problem?

Yes. Its not a brightness problem, its due to the fact that the unit doesn't sit back far enough. If it was further back in the dash sunlight angles wouldn't affect it unless it was directly facing the sun (almost impossible).

Only had that issue one time. Couldnt see shit on the screen. After some freaking out, I realized I had my lights on. Turned them off and presto, no issues.

I get the same glare on mine with the sun. My windows are tinted but when the sun is out coming thru the windshield it just has a bad glare. I've been trying to think how I could make some kind of shroud that looked like it should be there.

Gary, I agree. There should have been a hood around the screen, or set back into the dash. I wonder is there room behind it to set it back and make a new shroud for it.
