    2014 black Platinum Tundra
I just bought my 2014 tundra platinum a few weeks ago and am already tired of being stock. Going with a 4 inch lift and 20x10s or 20x12s or 22s don't know yet. But as far as paint goes it's metallic black with silver metallic grille and chrome door handles, emblems and mirrors caps. I had an idea to take all the chrome pieces and color match them with the silver metallic of the grille. Thoughts?

I think that could look pretty good. There's a black tundra thread in here. You should check out what others have done. Might get you more ideas.

    Flux capacitor!
Personally Im not a fan of doing the handles in the same metallic color as the grille. I know @Roman mentioned in another post Toyota is about to release the pre painted attitude black handles and mirror caps. Since you have a Platinum I'm assuming you have the metallic black paint and not the standard black? As far as rims and clearance it depends on the size of tires you want and the size of lift. A 12" wide rim is typically a -44 to -51 offset so you will have a hard time clearing that on a 4" lift. I don't know that it's impossible but you definitely will have some trimming to clear the front tires. Also keep in mind the more rim and less tire will also affect the ride of your truck. So if you do a 22" rim on a 35" tire you are going to feel a lot more of the bumps in the road. More tire equals a more cushy ride. Plus the less tire and the more rim you have the more likely you can end up hitting the curbs. That's only likely though if you go with a 12" rim and 12.5 wide tire.
