Wife don't drive stick shift, but daughter does. Daughter drove it once to college, because her car was in the shop, she said she was going 95 on the highway but thought she was going 65 - she said the car is too fast and too low. Since, I love to be high and comfortable in the Tundra, I use the truck as mush as possible (hence 178,000 miles already). The bike I use mostly in the fall and spring. The Porsche I use when I go from San Antonio to Austin on the 85 MPH toll way where I play with the Corvettes, Camaros and Mustangs.

You need your own private autobahn. 85 is probably lugging that Porsche.

85 is the lesser of the speed I do on the toll way. :burnrubber: This is where I can get her hot and let her to breathe deeply. Once she's hot, it's smooth sailing.

Of course I am talking about my German mistress. The more you push her, the more she wants. Sometimes she gets tired on high revs, but I hit the clutch, take her to 5th gear, she screams and drinks more gas, shift back to 6th gear and "adios, goodbye my friend"

Pretty neat if you ask me.

I like 997's. Coming down in price too. The new 991's are absolute monsters, though.

Back in June, when it was raining almost everyday in San Antonio, I caught a McLaren on the toll way, he wanted to play, but when he hit 135, I stayed behind because of the weather, or else I would of got toe to toe with him, that's when for the first time someone said adios, sayonara and took off. He must of been doing 165 at that point. I don't mess with McLarens, Bugatti's, or Ferrari's for that matter. If they can afford a car like that, then they can afford to race. Not me.

The GT2??? You'd be able to keep up with a lot of exotics with that thing for sure.

well, that's with my 2005 Carrera in exchange. I don't have the money for a new GT2, but I can squeeze a slightly used 2012 GT2. Break the bank for sure. But, shoot, we only live once. Make the best of it with a smile. Wanted to get a new 2016 Tundra crew cab, but that can wait a couple of years.

That's right. You only live once. Keep your Tundra. Trick it out. Get a camper/trailer. Take some time off. Drive up to Alaska. You won't regret it. Beyond bucket lister. Some people see AK and stay. Last frontier. I will go back after I retire. 6 months there and 6 months back here in CO. At least that is my plan. Bring your MC and Porsche. AK DMV allows short term registration each year. Summertime the hot rods come out of hibernation to rule the roads for a few months.

It sat for a few years until I bought it and some of the gaskets were dried up causing a few minor leaks. My brother talked me into pulling the engine and cleaning it up. Started before having to have major back surgery. Nine years later and still haven't got back to it. I will probably try to sell it in a few weeks.
