Did you ever produce one for Double Cab? Sure looks like a very nice product!!

I asked the same question last December. I was told that they going to produce one and hopefully have something out by March. Haven't heard a peep since. I could really use a DC setup right now. I'm going to shoot them an email and see if they have made any progress.

I found that the link a few posts up works and that's how I got the email sent. Hopefully they reply back pretty quick.

I really like the other setup as well. It looks to be very sturdy, requires no permanent modification, and is easily removable if ya need extra space. I these folks don't churn out a DC model soon, I may be looking at the other company. Thanks for the info and I'll post up as soon as I know something.

For those of you guys discussing the DC model over the new CrewMax's this product is for, there are already a lot of options for you. From simple cargo trays(even a factory option IIRC), to that tuffy box and more.
This thread and the product the OP has designed is for us guys with the '14+ CrewMax that greatly lacks in interior cargo areas since Toyota refreshed the truck and rear seat design in '14. The 07-13 Crew's and a slider rear seat that had storage behind, and room under. Our newer Crews don't have either, hence this product design that cuts and drops into the floor. Anyone outside of the '14+ crew trucks, you guys have options! The OP may make something in the future, but it seems he was designing a solution to his problem(and may others) of no storage in the new cab and a bin/box for other configurations is probably not of his utmost priorities.

We're just inquiring about the possibility of having a recessed box for the DC. I appreciate your input. I'm sure there are lots of possibilities for OPEN storage boxes for under the DC seat. I like the possibility of securing my valuables in this type of secure storage and being able to put jackets and such over top. I didn't quite realize that US DC GUYS were the black sheep of the Tundra clan. If a DC model doesn't come out, so be it.

Ok guy, heres the deal.... OP has a '14 crewmax, not a DC. While I can understand why you may want a recessed bin like this product and therefore inquire with the OP as to the possibility, it's not likely you'll see one.
Heres why: Your floor is nearly flat. Ours has a massive hump up under the seat cushion leading to the NECESSITY of recessing a bin into the floor to gain the storage space while the DC may not even have room under the floor(frame, gas tank, exhaust, driveline are just a few considerations) for such a box since it doesnt hump up like the crewmax. Also the floor and seat style of the DC is unchanged over the earlier trucks hence you have other options. You guys arent the black sheep at all, the 14+ crew is more-so since this is the only product available for us.

The only reason i asked about it in this thread is that in this thread the OP DID say he is going to make one for the double cab. So at one time this thread was for double cab guys also. However considering the amount of time that has passed i would not be suprised or upset if he is no longer planning to make one for a double cab.

Email me your address to trucks@esptruck.com. It has been averaging around $56.00 USPS for the plastic. I will have to let you know if you want the metal one.

We have the design done. I am going to have them run a prototype here in the next few weeks to see how it works.

Can someone show mod for ho to make the space under the seats. As of right now its just a hump and wasted space. My thought was that maybe the 38 gallon fuel tank is under there but not entirely sure.

They have 3 options available for the 2017+. A long box, the one shown in this thread, and a plastic version of the one shown but without lids for the compartments

I just ordered this set up
I just ordered this set up yesterday and i have the same floor mat as you do, i was worried about the seats locking in place once they are folded down due to the little thickness of the matt. How do you like it and does the seat go all the way down so its comfortable for the passengers or does it stick up a little and does not lock? I wanted to know if i should cut out my floor matts or just order the ones with out the extended to under the seats.
