Went to the car wash this morning to have the pollen rinsed off and the drives side black roof molding came off. Any ideas on sealing it down?

Ditto. I ran a bead of automotive molding glue down the length of gutter track. let it get tacky and replace strip. problem solved.

    UPDATE:

Got fed up with mine coming off during a wash unless I put painters tape on a few spots to hold it down; went to the dealer for a replacement under warranty. Took a few days to get but the new molding now has a sticky backing to prevent it from coming off..

I have an '09 Tundra Crewmax and currently replacing a second strip... dealer did the first one (out of warranty). Does the foam strip hold it in place or do I need the bead molding glue in the track. Seems the dealer did that with the first one and now I get a gurgling sound as the gutter empties after a rain. Any help would be appreciated.

I had one come loose under warranty on my 2009 Tacoma. I knew when it started to beat on the roof. Dealer replaced but did not notice small dents. I saw them when I was unloading an ATV off trailer. Took it back and they had a paintless dent guy fix it. Never had one come lose in 4+ years on 2013 Tacoma nor so far on Tundra so I figured Toyota changed something. I still do not understand why 2 pieces per side on the Tundra.

I know this thread is old but I ran my truck through the local car wash and when I got home I noticed both rain gutter moldings were gone. I called the car wash to see if they had them and of course they didn't.
Are these expensive? My truck is under warranty so maybe see if they'll fix it...any thoughts?

Holy cow, that's more than I thought but I should've expected dealer price would be high. I'm going the warranty route... hope it's covered.
