I really appreciate the input. I'm in between total chaos and SPCs. Only reason I'm considering SPCs is I've read they are fairly maintenance-free?

An arm is an arm at the end of the day. They all have slight differences but quality is all pretty comparable across the boards

Most people get away from the ball-joint arms because they are the weak link in the factory suspension. Spend the extra few bucks and move up to the uniball or delta joint style arms.

Been having a loud vibration in my closet when the AC is on since the line set runs through my closet wall. Today marks the 5th trip out here for the HVAC guys. At first they thought it was the compressor, next was the check valve and today they finally cut the drywall to see what is vibrating.
    IMG_1727.jpg

Needless to say there is nothing rubbing or touching anything in the wall. Guy that came out today is 100% positive the sound is being carried in the house from the compressor. So now I'm waiting on a Trane service rep to come out and look at the unit. Hope I didn't get a lemon...

@1UPPER ever have this happen in one of your houses? These guys say they have never had this happen before and they are the biggest HVAC company around. And they already have a ton of time invested in this issue.
