@chadleeper, You are on the list. Looks like this is your first post on the forum. Welcome. Take a minute and introduce yourself in the New Member section. There's a lot of good info here and a great group of Tundra folks. Could you tell me how you heard about the FRAC harness?

I was a member for a number of years on TacomaWorld but, my family out grew the Tacoma.I bought a Tundra Pro and found the site. I like how you built the harness out of necessity and want to support it. Cheers!

New to the forum just purchased my new 17 Tundra XS-P loving it and learning alot already on the forum. I am interested in purchasing one of these harnesses, I have one question though. You mention the GPS bypass would this allow to use the menus on the headunit while driving?

    See fine print
yup exactly. It disable the speed sensor when active so you can have the passenger enter the destination and even make vehicle setting adjustments on Entune. It's nice to have.

The time has come... Ordering is now open for the FRAC Harness Kits!

I am building 100 kits and final parts are expected in the next 10-14 days. So I anticipate that shipments will begin approximately the 3rd week of September. There are two different kit configurations; Nav and Non-Nav. The Prices are as follows:

FRAC kit for all 3rd Gen Tundras
    : $179.00 + $9.00 S&H = $188.00

Applicable sales tax will be added for Texas shipping addresses. Shipping will be via USPS Express Mail (with tracking number) to U.S. Addresses in the Lower 48 only.

To make a purchase send your order request to this e-mail address: TundraTex@FRACv2.com

In your e-mail request, please include ALL the following information:
    • Tundras.com Forum Name
    • Billing Email address (A PayPal billing invoice will be sent to this email address)
    • First and Last Name
    • Complete Shipping Address (Address Number, Street, City, State, ZIP)
    • Indicate if you have Factory Navigation or No Navigation
    • Identify your Truck Model/Trim (No switch bezels needed for Limited, Platinum, and 1794 kits)
    • Phone Number (optional but may help if there is a problem in processing your order)
After I have received your complete order information via e-mail, I will process a PayPal invoice and e-mail it to you. Paypal Invoices will be sent out in the order that I receive your e-mails and kits will be reserved in the order that payments are received. Once I have received 100 orders, I'll start a waiting list for the next round. You may order multiple harnesses if you'd like. The FRAC Harness will work with the latest generation 4Runners and Tacomas as well.

Again, to ensure proper processing and to make sure you get the right kit, please make sure to provide all the information requested above. I might not be able to process your order immediately if information is missing.

For 1794, Platinum, and some Limited models, there are no blank factory switch locations in the cab, so you will need to determine a location for your two switches. A convenient place to install them is in the ledge above the accessory power panel as seen below. (Thanks @BlueBottle for use of the pictures). For all other vehicles the switches will include a switch bezel that will plug into factory blank switch locations.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks again for your patience and interest in the FRAC Harness!

My 17 Limited has two empty switch locations. One by the rear window switch and another next two the security button in the above picture.

Interesting... I've had a few folks tell me their Limited had no open switch locations. You said you have an opening next to the security button? Could you post a picture of that?

Actually I have 3 open spots. The 3rd is where the parking sensors button would be. I didn't add any options to my Limited

Ok so you should be good with the two switches (assuming you have factory Nav). The cam switch goes where the parking sensor switch would go and the VIM switch goes where the security detector would go.
