I use 87 in the Tundra. I tried a higher octane and it didn't seem to make a difference with mpg or anything noticeable so 87 it is.

In my small engine stuff I use the highest octane I can find locally at a pump without ethanol.

I use 87 Octane. The majority of the gas station around where I live have up to 10 Ethanol.

The cheapest, cleanest, 87 I can find. I never top off when a gas tanker is refilling below ground station tanks. A friend in the gas biz says, you don't want the swirling juice at the bottom of the keg :rofl:just motor on to another station where the sediment has settled. FWIW..

Toyota calls for 87 octane, so that is what is used. At my elevation, that is mid-grade.

I'm lucky enough to be able to get pure 87 dino with no ethanol @ $2.49 a gallon locally now. I have the non flex 5.7L.

Same here, but I don't buy it. 2.12 for 87 oct. If I could notice the difference in performance I would be the Dino, I have and did not notice any difference. I do use it in my generator, and yard equipment.

10% Ethanol 87 goes for around $2.19 give or take. I don't mind paying the extra cost to keep from using that water absorbing corn juice when I can.

On the factory tune I tested both 87 and 91 octane. I personally notice no change in performance or fuel efficiency. I also tracked ignition timing and i saw notiming advance for running the higher octane fuel.

Now that I'm running a tune im using 91 octane.

I envy your fuel prices. I think I am paying $3.19/gal here in NorCal for 87.

87 here. No benefit to running any higher.

Buy mine at Costco most of the time.

Usually fill at a Shell, BP or Sunoco. We avoid Holiday....mpg drops by 2-3 points. No Wal-Mart's around us UP here, when we lived in down state my wife would fill her Envoy at Wal-Mart and it would always make the CEL come on for an O2 sensor.

Always run 87 in the cars/trucks. 91 non-ethanol is what we put in the quads & sleds.

Royal farms by me has 89 ethanol free and I buy that often. When not using that I'll put shell or Exxon 87 or 89 in. Def better mileage with non corn on trips.
