Hello, Just bought a 2018 Tundra. I was all excited for more payload than my Taco, and expected a lot of the features to be the same. But there's no storage behind the backseat, and no storage compartments in the bed either (ugh, where do you put recovery gear, ropes, bungees, etc.?)! Something tells me I'll be coming here for help often.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! I was disappointed in the lack of storage spaces as well. Check out the Swingbox for storage in the bed of the truck, and depending on your cab (double, crewmax, etc.) you'll find a few different solutions on this site for adding storage spaces.

Welcome aboard. Tundras lack payload and storage. Your taco probably had as much of both.

Welcome. They do make storage bins that you would have to cut the floor carpet and foam to make work. I just lay everything under the back seats and use the door pockets for ratchet straps, IR heat gun, bungees, gloves. I have my hitch and foldable shovel wrapped in blankets, tow strap and D rings just laying on the floor under the seat.
