My wife & I have a 2022 tundra on approval & have till Friday to decide on this truck or not. It has 19,500 miles & is a beautiful truck. However, we are finding out that this new turbo engine in the new models have had some issues with the engine, stalling on you. We found out that ours was manufactured in 6/22 & can’t find out from Toyota if this truck was made before they used a new supplier to fix the engine problem or after. Does anyone know that information? If ours was made after they got a new supplier, then we will probably keep it. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I'd go poke around in the 3rd gen section and see if you can get your question answered. Not everyone looks her and the knowledgeable people might not see your question.

    Good luck with your decision!

I recently switched from the Jeep family to the Toyota Tundra. It wasn't even in my initial pool of choices until a white Sr5 with the night edition caught my eye and i had to have it. There's a lot of new computer technology to learn, but overall I'm very satisfied.

Welcome from OKC. I suggest doing some serious homework. The new truck has a whole slew of issues. Rod bearings failures, rear main seal failures, defective glass, melted fabrics, broken trim inside and out, soft paint, etc. Just hit the search bar above and start looking before you get in too deep. Here is a starter for you.. https://www.tundras.com/threads/3-4-i-force-engine-failures.121107/
